You’ve probably heard of most of these healthy eating tips before, but a refresher is always a good idea.
Eat more fruits and vegetables, nuts, whole grains (no white bread, or dark-colored white bread that people think is whole wheat bread) and get rid of the junk food.
If you’re whining "Why do I have to?", just think back when you were a kid at Coney Island or some other type of carnival place.
Remember how you got sick from eating all that cotton candy and snacks packed with preservatives and additives you don’t learn to pronounce ‘til you’re in Pre-Med?

Eliminate, or cut back on meat and only eat meat minus the hormones. Get some at your local natural food store. And don't eat more than 4 ounces at a time.

Salmon and other oily fish are great for healthy eating, but never eat farm-raised. The fish farms feed them junk, and they're bad for you.
- This is a very important healthy eating tip: Soda is the worst thing for you. It leeches calcium & iron from your organs and creates an acidic body which leaves you open to all kinds of diseases, especially cancer.

The American Institute for Cancer Research says that 77% of cancer cases are related to a person’s lifestyle.
If you say “yes” to any of the following you’re creating an overabundance of free radicals in your system making you a candidate for Cancer and other diseases:
- You’re obese
- You exercise very little
- You eat greasy food
- There's seldom a vegetable on your plate
- You smoke or chew tobacco
- You’re a heavy drinker
- You use too much salt (Stan: I have low blood pressure, so it's ok for me)
- You eat processed and preserved food

- You worry a lot
Follow these healthy eating tips when planning your meals: Eat more wild salmon. If not fresh, buy the canned variety. Sam’s and Costco carries it. Good stuff. One can makes a good dinner for one adult, or two of the smaller variety.
Omega-3 fatty acids can help you lose weight.
Teens? They’ll eat your whole supply and ask: "What’s for dinner?"

people have a diet that’s high in calories and low in nutrition. Proof?
Just look at what people are buying at the supermarket.
Processed frozen and canned foods, filled with sugar, synthetic vitamins and chemicals whose names most people can’t pronounce! - What they’re doing is eating dead food. It has no life and doesn’t support life, and leads to an earlier death.
- Your body has to work harder to digest this stuff, which uses up more energy from your body than you’re taking in. It’s a net loss for you, which is why you feel tired and sleepy after a big meal.
- Eat only fist-sized portions at each meal, but eat more often. That way your body doesn't have to use up too much energy to digest your food, leaving you with a net gain in energy and endurance.
- Fat that’s a solid at room temperature, like butter, lard, or animal fat, will turn into a solid inside your body. Use olive oil instead of solid fats.
- Drink lots of water throughout the day. But the body can only absorb 4oz of water every 30 minutes.
- The produce rule: If you’re not going to peel it, buy organic. If peeled, ok to eat commercial in a pinch…but organic is always better.
- Can you pronounce it? Is it natural? Did people eat the same thing 200 years ago? If yes, your body will not only recognize it but will easily assimilate it.
- Breakfast is the key meal. Eat many small meals throughout the day.
